NZ All Stars: Unlocked
Terms & Conditions
Information on how to participate in the NZ All Stars Unlocked promotion and the included competition (the Competition) forms part of the conditions of entry. Entries not made in accordance with these terms will be disqualified. Entry into the competition is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to all Australian IATA accredited retail travel agents. Corporate and wholesale agents are not eligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 00:01 AEST 02 May 2017 and closes at 11:59 AEST 02 June 2017 (the "Promotional Period").
The Promoters are Air New Zealand Limited, Level 12, 7 Macquarie Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia (ABN 70 000 312 685), Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd, 56 Edmondstone Road, Bowen Hills, QLD 4006, Australia (ABN 36 090 670 965) and Tourism New Zealand, Level 12, 61 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia (the Promoters).
Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Tourism New Zealand 'NZ All Stars Unlocked' events will be held in Brisbane on 19 June 2017, Sydney on 20 June 2017, Melbourne on 21 June 2017, and Perth on 22 June 2017 (the 'Events'). The address and time of the event will be supplied to attendees when they RSVP.
Employees of the Promoters and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process.
Conditions of entry
To receive a ticket to the Events agents need to:
Register or Login at nzallstars.com.au
Sell a minimum of one (1) return ticket to New Zealand on 086 ticket stock or 795 ticket stock during the Promotional Period and log it via nzallstars.com.au
Complete one Tourism New Zealand training programme module via http://traveltrade.newzealand.com/en/training/nz-specialist-programme/ during the Promotional Period.
Once an agent completes the criteria outlined in clause 7 and completes the RSVP form on nzallstars.com.au specifying which event they will attend, they will receive one ticket.
In addition, once an agent completes the criteria outlined in clause 7 they will be eligible for exclusive prizes which will be awarded to agents who complete one of the below criteria options and are present at the event they have outlined in their RSVP. There is a maximum of one exclusive prize awarded per agent, per category below:
Sell an additional four (4) return New Zealand 086 tickets with Air New Zealand during the promotional period to receive a bottle of New Zealand wine, or:
Sell an additional four (4) return New Zealand 795 tickets with Virgin Australia during the promotional period to receive a Virgin Australia Business Class Amenity Pack, or:
Complete an additional three (3) new Tourism New Zealand training programme modules via http://traveltrade.newzealand.com/en/training/nz-specialist-programme/ during the promotional period to receive a Lonely Planet guide to New Zealand.
When the agent receives their ticket they will be randomly allocated a 3 digit code to bring to the event for entry into the random prize draws:
There will be six (6) random prize draws each at the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne events and four (4) spot prize draws at the Perth event, with the random codes chosen via https://www.random.org/ from all eligible entries.
An agent must be present at the event and use their random code to open a prize suitcase in order to determine whether they have a winning code. They must present their ticket in order to claim their prize.
If a prize is not claimed at the event it will be forfeited and a further draw will take place following the event to all agents who attended within a second chance draw. Winners of the second chance draw will be contacted via the email address and phone number they registered with. If initial contact the second chance draw winner has indicated that they do not wish to claim the prize, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted until all prizes have been awarded.
The total prize pool at each event is valued at up to AU$5000. The prize value is valid as at 26 April 2017 and the Promoters accept no responsibility for any subsequent variation in prize value.
If an exclusive prize is not claimed by the winning agent at the event they indicated within their RSVP the prize will be forfeited.
Flights booked with Frequent Flyer point reward classes and travel industry classes (N, R, X, I), free tickets, prize Competition tickets, infant tickets and tickets purchased using Frequent Flyer point dollars and Fly Buys points will not be eligible to enter the promotion.
Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Tourism New Zealand reserve the right to verify the validity of entries.
All prize winners will be announced on the NZ All Stars microsite following the events. Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Tourism New Zealand's decision is final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Neither the prizes nor any part of them, can be converted to cash. The prize is not transferable and is non-refundable. Third party terms and conditions may apply on the prizes.
The Promoters are not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
In the event of dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "authorised account holder" person in whose name the NZ All Stars email account is registered, provided the person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the eligibility section of these official rules.
Subject to State legislation, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value and the Prize winners will be notified accordingly.
Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Tourism New Zealand assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Tourism New Zealand assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.
To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoters nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
